An Unbearable Stink
At the Hong Kong port, Gary, along with a few other people from his Sea Shepherd Crew, went to the area where they were tipped off. He asked the Chinese men who were handling the cargo to step aside so he could see what was inside the bags. He already knew what he was going to find because of the smell alone. He claims, “It [was] so strong, the smell. It’s like cat pee on steroids.”
