Stopping Treatment

Lydia had felt like she had suffered enough. She had been diagnosed at 15 and had dealt with the painful and tiring treatments for so long. And now that her sickness was considered Stage 4 Renal Cancer, she just felt like enough was enough. She wanted to stop the treatments and just do pain management.

She Knew The Consequences

Having gone through years of cancer treatments, surgeries, blood tests, and all the difficulties that had to do with having a terminal illness, Lydia decided she was just done with it all. But stopping treatment also meant that she had to live with the consequences, which would be that she was eventually going to die.
