After the cold war, Russia needed to store 73 weapons of mass destruction, so they decided to do it in Mezhgorye. Despite the 73 stored warheads being denuclearized, the fear is still rampant since each nuclear weapon was said to hold 365 times the power of the bomb that dropped on Hiroshima.
