(Tip 14) Expect a big breakfast

When in France, try not to expect a big savory breakfast as the French do not really do breakfast in a big way. Staples like croissants, pastries and brioche with coffee or hot chocolate is the norm. It is rarely that you will find many places, even in larger cities, that offer more. When they do, it is not more than an egg and a piece of bacon for tourists. Go French! Eat big at lunch and even bigger at dinner.
