When invited, give courtesy and never show up to the host’s house or party empty-handed. In France, this may be as simple as being invited for coffee at someone’s home or a play date with the kids. Take some biscuits for coffee, some cake from the local “boulangerie” and you will definitely be remembered well and invited back.
