Finally, Some Answers

There were an unbelievable number of theories about Lori’s real identity. Some say she escaped a crazy Religious cult, others say she was running from the mob after seeing something she shouldn’t have, while others speculated that maybe she was part of the witness protection program… But in the end, in 2016, it took the most famous forensic genealogist, Colleen Fitzpatrick, and Social Security Administration investigator, Joe Velling, to finally figure out this mystery.

Her True Identity

The Ruff’s really wanted to know what Lori’s real identity was, and lucky for them, they were able to figure out a case that many believed would never get solved. They were able to connect Lori to a family in Pennsylvania, and sure enough when they showed her photo to one of the members of the Cassidy family, they said “My God, that’s Kimberly!” Apparently, she left home at 18 and was never reported as missing. It was even said that she had a very normal childhood, despite her parent’s divorce and her mom remarrying. And although some speculate that her reason for leaving was because of her mom’s new marriage, it still remains to be just tha, a speculation, until today.
