But Dee Dee would sometimes try to conceal Gypsy’s delicate condition. She would dress her up in princess’ outfits, which Gypsy enjoyed, and cover her small bald head with wigs and hats. Gypsy’s favorite outfit was a curly, blonde Cinderella costume, which she wore happily in several photographs of herself with Dee Dee.
