Living on Charity
The incredible story of Dee Dee and Gypsy began to attract media attention. Soon, they started receiving thousands of dollars in donations from charities and were even sponsored to take a trip to Disney World. Dee Dee found in those “blessings” a way for them to get by, and Gypsy, helpless and wheelchair-bound, had no other choice, but to hold on to her mother to survive.
