Like many other sad mass shooting stories, there was one particular incident that happened in a school in South Dakota, ended in a positive way for once. On September 11, 1991, Ryan Harris, who was only 17-years old at the time, went inside his former school, Stevens High School in Rapid City, carrying a 12-gauge sawed-off shotgun. He forced the teacher to leave the class while keeping 22 of his former classmates hostage.
