In spite of the blood, the broken glass and the obvious danger of the situation, the kids didn’t hesitate to assist the victims in need. They helped get a 9-year old and 2-year old out of the car while waiting for the authorities to arrive. After they were reassured that all was well, the students went on their way and still managed to make it to the prom just 15 minutes late. One of the other kids shared, “It was a good prom. Everybody had a story to tell.” Talk about a bunch of teens doing a very good deed.

14-year old James Persyn III had been alone at home with his younger siblings. His dad had told him to watch over his 11-year old sister and 2-year old brother, while he went to pick up their mother from work. But there was no way of knowing what was about to transpire that night. Only after being home by themselves for a bit, there was a loud and frantic banging on the door. A woman was screaming to let her in, and she sounded like she was going to die.
