The Aye-Aye is a type of lemur, which can be mainly found in Madagascar. It is distinct for its rodent-like teeth that grow continually and its special thin middle finger. This animal is the world’s largest nocturnal (active during the night) primate, and it forages at night by tapping on trees to find insects which it pulls out with its long and narrow middle finger. It is now declared as an endangered species.

 Lesula

The Lesula is a type of Old World monkey that is found mainly in the Lomami Basin of the Congo. This primate is known to locals, but largely unknown to outsiders. It was first discovered by international scientific researchers in 2007. It is characterized by its human-like eyes and blue buttocks and genital areas. The Lesula was among the Top 10 New Species in 2013 (out of the 140 nominated species) which were selected by the International Institute for Species Exploration at Arizona State University.
