Bad Weather Conditions
Because the temperature could reach over 100 degrees, this would end up also causing issues with the search. There were times where they had to stop the rescue teams from heading out due to harsh weather conditions. Plus, the trail of footprints had gone cold almost at the time that the search began, due to the coarse terrain. They were beginning to feel desperate that they weren’t going to find anything as each day passed with no results.
