Made Them Stronger

For Laurin, she can’t help but be positive about the progress she’s had so far. She shared, “I’m doing better than I was in December, I have more good days than bad. But it takes two strong people to get through this. We’ve been through more in three years than most couples go through in 50. We can go through this together. It has made us both stronger.”

Quality Over Quantity

Laurin and Mike both agree that in spite of the cancer and treatment, they have decided to continue to live their life exactly as they want to, considering the stage 4 cancer. She said, “We’re going to continue to live and travel and do everything we want to do as long as we can. We decided we were always going to focus on quality over quantity.”
