In 2014, water levels of Brule Creek dropped and the girls’ vehicle was found. The cops discovered that there was no foul play involved. In fact, it was simply a tragic accident. The sad part about this case was that an innocent man was jailed. Lykken was released and currently, he is waiting for the outcome of his $400,000 lawsuit against the state.

Lucy Johnson

In September 25, 1961, Lucy Johnson, a mother of one, had vanished with no apparent reason. She didn’t come back in the weeks that followed. Time passed and she wasn’t reported missing until four years after her disappearance. Police were immediately suspicious of her husband, Marvin. In fact, they dug up his backyard and found nothing. So, they decided that this was an open-and-shut case and went about with their lives.
