Finding Lauren

As the days passed, it became increasingly clear that there were no visible clues of Lauren’s vanishing, aside from the timeline they were able to piece together. A few months into the investigation, the police decided to search through the Sycamore Ridge Landfill, in hopes of finding something, anything to help them with their examination.

Searching Through Trash

The landfill is where all the trash from the town of Bloomington is brought. Various authorities such as the Bloomington Police Department, the FBI, and the Indiana University Police Department helped with the hunt. Although all the different jurisdictions got over 3,060 clues about Lauren’s case, they still hadn’t come to close to finding her.
