Since Michael Beth knew that Lauren was close to Jay Rosenbaum, Beth decided to bring her over to his apartment to get his help. He told Jay that Lauren still wanted to drink and that she was trying to convince him to go back to her place. When Rosenbaum was questioned about the event’s leading up to her disappearance, he mentioned that Lauren had a bruise under her eye.

Last To See Her Alive

Not only had Lauren arrived at the apartment complex without her bag or keys, apparently she had left her phone and shoes in Kilroy’s Sports Bar earlier that evening. According to Rosenbaum, Lauren borrowed his phone to make two phone calls, both to people who didn’t bother to answer her calls, nor did she leave any messages. Rosenbaum went on to tell the authorities that Lauren left his apartment at 4:30 a.m., shoeless, phoneless and with no one with her.
