Piecing The Night Together

Once Lauren was confirmed missing, the authorities, friends, and family, and even some volunteers help in searching for her whereabouts. They scoured through even the most remote areas of Monroe County, putting up posters and photos with Lauren’s face plastered all over them. The police even took DNA samples from the people who were considered possible suspects in her disappearance. Namely Cory Rossman, and even from her boyfriend, Jesse Wolff, who was reportedly not with her during the night in question.

A Nondescript White Van

On June 14, 2011, about eleven agonizing days after Lauren went missing, the authorities put out a photo of a white, nondescript van seen in one of the areas they were investigating. Aside from its location, nothing else concretely connected the truck to any part of the Spierer case. Eventually, the owner of the vehicle was questioned by the police but was proven completely innocent.
