On His Way Home
David and Shawna had hepatitis from using old needles and hospitals were getting tired of them because they did not have insurance. They never had much before and were now hell-bent on enjoying their money to the last cent-even at the expense of their well-being. And on his last hospital visit, Shawna took him there but she never returned to pick him up. His ex-wife had to pick him up and drive him back to Kentucky, and he would stay in his mother-in-law’s house. He had lost everything, including the home he lived in when he won the lottery. And he would stand to lose even more.
