I wish it wasn’t,” while Ruth says, “We freaked out. It ping-ponged from one plank to another. You could hear a little plop,” as the ring fell into the water below.

Getting In The Water

Almost as soon as the ring falls into the water, the couple and their friend, Maddie, got over the surprise, and the first thing they did is jump into the pond. The water itself was not exactly clear, or clean, and their friend Maddie even shares, “There was so much mud and nasty algae. There were sticks going between my toes. Not my cup of tea, but I didn’t want to leave without the ring. Then it was just getting too dark. And the flashlight was dying.” And sadly for them, the ring was nowhere to be found.
