Trying To Remain Positive

When asked about the slew of events that have happened since the botched proposal, Ruth shares, “It’s been a roller coaster of emotions, to be honest.” She continues, “Honestly, I’m happy and excited that we’re finally engaged. Just sad I don’t have a ring to show for it. I know God will work everything out. We’ve kind of laughed at it, too. Gotta make fun of it, somehow.”

Divers To The Rescue

Meanwhile, without the couple even knowing it, a few Kansas City divers had heard of the story and decided that they were going to attempt to help the couple out. One diver in particular, Michael Brock, shares, “I saw the story and thought, ‘We can go find that’.” Apparently, he had been diving since he was 15 years old.
