The Next Day

The next day, the ‘kind of’ engaged couple, unfortunately without a ring, went back to where the flopped engagement took place and brought along what they prayed was going to be the answer to their lost treasure. They hired someone off the Internet who owned a metal detector, to attempt to look for the ring in the murky water once more. The water itself was too deep for him, so Seth decided to get back into the water a second time to try and look again. Sadly, they still wouldn’t find the ring.

Their Church Gets Involved

The couple went to service that Sunday at 11 a.m. at Lifegate Church. Upon hearing about what happened to Seth and Ruth, their friends from church decided to help them out. Their thought process was definitely that, the more eyes searching in the pond, the better. So at around 3 p.m. that day, around 25 people decided to go to the park to look for the lost engagement ring.
