What Could It Be?

Jeff Longo was out for a walk one incredibly sunny day when he saw something tiny lying on the sidewalk. Upon approaching the strange creature, he couldn’t tell for sure what it was. But what he did know was that if he didn’t help the little thing, it was certainly going to die. With no mommy or family in sight, Jeff decided he would take it home and see what he could do to help it survive.

Jeff decided to post a photo of the tiny creature on Reddit to see if he could find someone to possibly help him decipher what it was, as well as what he could do to help it survive. And to his quiet surprise, quite a few people had something to say, albeit negative. Some were able to tell him that what he had found was a Southern Flying Squirrel. While others said they were certain that the baby mammal was going to die.
