Milk Drunk

Whether it was the mixture of her milk, or the fact that Jeff was taking such wonderful care of her Biscuits was well on her way into a full recovery. Of course Jeff knew that she wouldn’t be able to be returned into the wild, he still tried to provide her with the ‘feel’ of what life in the outside world would feel like.

Making Jeff Her Tree

Since Southern Flying Squirrel’s usually live in trees, they are also known to come out during the night as they run around their giant habitat. For Biscuits, her “Big Tree” was Jeff. He explains, “She runs around me like I’m a big tree… then jumps on things and then jumps back… gets excited… starts chirping… rinse and repeat.”
