Becoming Biscuits’ New Mommy

Jeff took it upon himself to do a substantial amount of research on the creature, and figure out what he could do to help Biscuits have the best chance of survival. He began by making sure that Biscuits was never left alone. He also knew that he would need to find the perfect concoction to feed her, since she no longer had her mother to nurse from.

Researching Southern Flying Squirrels

Jeff would soon find out quite a few facts about these cute little beings. Full-grown, Southern Flying Squirrels are about the size of a chipmunk. They have slightly big ears in comparison to their bodies, and usually have lovely smooth fur. They are nocturnal animals, which means that they move about at night, and are asleep during the day. They are also known to ‘fly,’ when they stretch out their front arms and glide through the air using the skin in between their bodies and arms, which look, and mimic wings.
