He Couldn’t Have Been More Wrong

What Clint had believed was just a run-of-the-mill argument between a normal couple had seemed much worse to one of their neighbors. Holly’s mom, Karen, shares that she received a phone call from her neighbor who said that she heard someone screaming from her house. Karen immediately called their home when Clint answered her call. Then she told her son, “Clint, that’s not Drew. Get a gun and shoot him!” And after that, she immediately hung up the phone and called 911 herself, too.

Clint Wasn’t Sure

After speaking to his mom, Clint went to check on Holly and whom he assumed was Drew and had said that by that time, the two were walking towards the woods. The guy was in camouflaged clothes, and was about 6 feet tall and maybe around 180 to 200 lbs. Since he couldn’t be sure whether it was actually Drew or not, he didn’t want to just shoot the guy not knowing who the guy was. But in hindsight, he most probably should have.
