Another neighbor, Karen Banner, told a local TV station, “Two kids right here at Christmas time, that’s tough.” While another neighbor, Denise Albino, gave her sentiments, “I just feel sorry, sorry for the whole family. It’s terrible.”

Did It Have To Do With Work?

Although they had answers as to why Chris would do something so horrible, others had to wonder if part of it had anything to do with his work. Chris had been employed by Baylor Scott & White Medical Center-Waxahachie for less than two months when he committed the crime. A spokesperson for the center shared, “Our thoughts and prayers are with the family and all of those affected by this tragedy. Dr. Christopher Dawson was employed September 4, 2017 through October 20, 2017.” But they did not say whether Chris had been fired from his job or not.
