It Made People Wonder

The story of Chris’ death was actually shared by a few friends with doctors regarding his depression and what could have made him go that far. One particular doctor, Pamela Wible, who heard about the story, has actually done years of research about doctors who attempt suicide. She also found out that the number of doctors committing suicide has increased rapidly. And because of the rising numbers, she decided to ‘run a suicide hotline for doctors.’

Could It Have Been Prevented?

Apparently, Dr. Wible had experienced depression herself. And that’s also part of the reason why she decided to put up the hotline like she did. Sadly, in the case of Chris, and like many other physicians who experience the same kind of heartbreak and utter desperation like what Chris felt, if they just got the proper care, then maybe something as devastating as what happened to the Dawson family could have been stopped.
