Neighbors Thought They Were A Normal Family
The neighbor of the couple explained how, just a few days before the incident, they had seen the family decorating for the upcoming holidays. Franklin shared, “They’ve been putting up the Christmas light. You come out here and see them [the kids] with the dad. They seemed normal, man.”
Police Were Puzzled Too
The spokesperson for the North Richland Hills Police, Carissa Katekaru, even said, “There’s no history there. We’re still trying to figure out why.” It was completely puzzling for the authorities to understand why what seemed like a doting father in a normal, everyday family, would do something so horrible.
