Being Sent To Jail
Mary Pigeon was sentenced to 8 days at the Adult Correctional Institutions in Cranston, Rhode Island. The judge also believed that Mary knew where her daughter was. Mary claimed she had no idea where they were, so the judge decided to incarcerate her for ‘contempt of court’ since she wouldn’t talk. Mary was 77 years old at the time of her jail period. Upon her release, she said, “I feel much better. I would win everything if my daughter and grandchildren would come home.” But that still wouldn’t happen any time soon.
