The mysterious massacre of the Robison’s family

All six members of the Robinson family were found dead with gunshots to their heads in their vacation home in Michigan in July 1968. The massacre had taken place on June 25, according to official records. An employee of the family named Joseph Scolaro was implicated for the killings. He was also suspected of embezzling from the family. He was dismissed from the case for lack of evidence, but four years later, the case was reopened, which prompted Scolaro to kill himself, leaving behind a note confessing to embezzling, but maintaining his innocence on the killings of the family members. The case is still open to this day.

Found in two places – Dolores Della Penna

In 1972, 17-year-old Dolores Della Penna’s body parts were found in two separate locations in South Jersey. She was last seen leaving her home in Tacony on July 11. The murderer removed her fingertips to avoid identification, but her head was never found. Police speculated that it was the result of a revenge against her boyfriend who stole some drugs from a local dealer. It wasn’t proven and none of the personalities implicated were charged. The suspect was never identified.
