The case ran cold and the people involved thought that Marlene’s killer would never be brought to justice. That is, until 2014, the Palm Beach County Sherriff’s Office decided to look into the murder once again. This time, DNA analysis was at its prime. New developments in forensics had emerged. So, cops thought that they would finally be able to find something that they had missed years before.
