So, cops started to substantially put pieces together: they traced calls made from Rivers’ cell phone, they looked into the documents and paperwork found in C&S, and interviewed both friends and clients. They also watched a year-old interrogation from a man who was a frequent visitor of the auto repair shop. The testimonies they gathered started making sense.
