Recipe: Keto Biscuits and Gravy
Ingredients:
For the Biscuits:
1 cup flour
2 large eggs (beaten)
½ cup shredded cheddar
½ cup sour cream
1 tablespoon baking powder
½ teaspoon garlic powder
¼ teaspoon kocher salt
For the Gravy:
10 ounces crumbled fresh sausage, preferably pork
1 cup cream cheese or coconut cream
1 cup beef broth or chicken broth
Salt and pepper
Directions:
For Biscuits:
Pour into a greased muffin tin
Bake at 425 for 12 to 14 minutes
For Gravy:
Cook sausage in a large skillet over medium heat for 5-6 minutes or until thoroughly heated, stirring frequently.
Gradually add cream cheese and broth; cook until mixture comes to a soft simmer and thickens, stirring constantly until smooth.
Reduce heat to medium-low; simmer 2 minutes, stirring constantly. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
Split biscuits in half. Place 2 halves on each of plates; top with about ⅓ cup gravy.
