In court, Rowe appeared to be doe-eyed and innocent. He clearly had two sides to his personality. He was in tears when he told the judge that he never wanted to infect anyone. And when asked if he scared them with HIV, he claimed that he could not remember any of it. To him, he wasn’t infecting anyone.
