Animation entertainment captivates us with their fun and clever plots and unforgettable characters. In the novel The Hundred and One Dalmatians which Disney later adapted into The 101 Dalmatians franchise, one villain stood out: Cruella. The problem? Some fans are unsure of her complete name. Is it spelled DeVille or De Vil? While both sound the same, DisneyWikia.com says the abominable character is called Cruella De Vil—both in the 1956 novel and the Disney adaptations. Those who believe otherwise can’t help but ask: was it really a case of false memory or were they momentarily on a trip to a parallel realm?
