40. How can I make your day today, Harry?
In the 1983 action movie Sudden Impact, Dirty Harry, played by Clint Eastwood, foils a robbery. He manages to gun down most of the bad guys and is now down to the last robber, who, by this time, has a woman hostage. Harry taunts the guy and says, “Go ahead. Make my day.” Most people insist it’s “Go ahead, punk. Make my day.” The mix up may have been from one of the lines in the same scene mentioned by Harry which goes, “You’ve got to ask yourself one question: ‘Do I feel lucky?’ Well, do ya punk?”
