Even Crews’ second wife, Karen, would be called up to the stand to ask about Crews’ past addictions. When asked about his drug and alcohol abuse, Karen claimed, “He could drink two quarts of Georgia moonshine and still shoot pool straight.” It would seem like there was no motive behind the monstrous and evil murders that took place, and after all the incriminating evidence was presented, there was no way that Crews would get away with murder once again.
