The Death Penalty

At the end of the trial, on May 25, 1991, family and friends of the slain couple sat back and watched as Crews received the death penalty for the double murder of Molly and Geoff. Although many believed that he deserved it, Molly’s father, Jim, who also happened to be a retired Baptist minister, had said, “We have a lot of anger about our loss. But putting someone else to death doesn’t even come close to dealing with that pain.”
