According to the Chief Nursing Officer of University Hospital, Margaret Pearce, she says “I need to make sure this never, ever, ever happens to another one of our care providers again.” Their new policy states that from now on, the nursing staff will not deal with law enforcement directly, rather, it will be the health supervisors who will be the first in line to talk to them.
