What She Hopes Her Experience Will Achieve For Others
Wubbels shares that was she hopes everyone gains from her horrific experience is to “open up dialogue [between police and nurses]” especially because hospital staff and police officers have to work together all the time. She goes on to say, “I feel a sense of urgency for this conversation. We need to make this better. This can’t be happening, it should’ve never happened, and if I have anything to say about it, it won’t ever happen again.”
