A Visit To The Vatican
In 1985, Princess Diana accompanied Prince Charles to the Vatican to visit with Pope John Paul II while on their tour of Italy. Interestingly, she wore a lace black dress and veil as though she was in mourning. Nobody seemed to have minded as she always dressed well.
