Meeting Mother Teresa
Princess Diana met with Mother Teresa several times around the world, not just in India. Both were involved with several charities that brought them together. Their last meeting was in the Bronx, New York, in June of 1997, barely 2 months before Princess Diana’s death on August 31, 1997. Mother Teresa passed away a few days later on September 6, 1997, the same time of the burial rites of Princess Diana.
