When Princess Diana died on August 31, 1997, the world mourned. It was shocking as well as heartbreaking for a lot of people. Rarely did one person affect billions of other people in such a way. A sea of flowers for the Princess were left outside of Buckingham Palace and Kensington Place where she lived with Prince Willim and Prince Harry.
