It’s hard enough that the dogs were abandoned, but Yulia just couldn’t bring herself to abandon them just like their previous owner. They could be killed. Or worse, they could end up being treated cruelly for sport. Animals, like people, had rights too, and that meant that she had to consider what was best for them at this point.
