Meanwhile, Judy was making some progress while in the hospital. She had woken up from her 8-month slumber and although she can no longer walk, no longer talk, and still has a number of ongoing medical issues like the inability to breathe on her own, she wants to help other women who may be in similar situations as hers with abusive partners.
