Judy’s Law
During the first year that Judy spent in the hospital, legislation would end up pushing for a new law influenced by the events that took place on that horrific day. The new bill, which is called “Judy’s Law,” is to increase the ‘penalties for cases like Malinowski’s, if a victim is left permanently disfigured after the use of an accelerant. But they had to wait for Senate to approve it.
