Infatuated With Older Men

It would seem like she believed that she could find some distorted version of ‘love’ or ‘reliability’ in older men. What she believed was them being nice to her, was truly them using her for sex and trade. She also shares, “I was infatuated with older men who were twenty-five, twenty-six.”

Not Knowing Any Other Life

So by the time that she was a young teenager, she was being controlled by men whom she thought she could trust, but who were not only pushing drugs on the streets, but were using her to do their dirty work. Just like her mom, she ended up in a life of sex trade, sexual exploitation and child trafficking. Apparently, it was something she had experienced, watching her very own mother do it as well, selling her body for drugs and be used by men for their own pleasure with zero regard for herself.
