Finding Her Car

Her car was found in the parking lot opposite the Target store, and it seemed like it was just abandoned there. What they found inside was going to reinforce their worst fear that Kelsey was, in fact, abducted. Her wallet, purse, and her Target purchases were all left inside the car. The police knew then that this wasn’t a robbery or mugging, but it would seem that Kelsey had been kidnapped.

Searching For More Evidence

Almost immediately after Kelsey was known to be missing, the media and the authorities began an instant search for her whereabouts. Luckily for them, Target has a number of cameras used for surveillance both inside their stores and heading out as well. They even have their own Target Forensic Services division that sifts through videos when needed. And what they were about to discover was going to be a parents’ nightmare come true.
