Roy believed, “My thought initially is they [North Korea] mistook him for someone who was trying to move North Koreans out.” Unfortunately, the U.S. State Department wasn’t having any of it, and they stuck to their guns explaining that there was “no credible information to substantiate the idea that he has been abducted.”
Turning To Congress
More time has passed since the last major information that the family received about David actually living in North Korea. But they know deep down that David is alive and well, and that they just need to find a way to get to him. Since then, they have even turned to the U.S. Congress to help with their case.
