Where Is He Now?

Aside from writing a few albums, he would go on to tour with John Mayer, Matchbox 20 and O.A.R. as their opening acts, even co-headlining with singer Matt Nathanson. But sometime in 2015, Phillips’ would find himself in a bit of controversy when he sued the American Idol’s production company, 19 Entertainment, for “manipulating and oppressing” him. Thankfully, he was able to settle the issue and finally release some new tracks on an album he called “Collateral,” which he toured for in early 2018.

Candice Glover, Season 12 Winner

Candice Glover, who won season 12 over Kree Harrison, was apparently said to have had the most auditions, which was two chances more than any other contestant who made it to the live rounds. Glover’s rendition of The Cure’s ‘Love Song,’ was said to be “one of the greatest performances in the history of 12 seasons of American Idol.” After her win, she made her first album, ‘Music Speaks,’ almost immediately.
